A company of classic 1990s Playmobil medieval knights emerges from the mist, carrying purple shields and banners decorated with a golden wyvern.
Vintage Playmobil Knights with Painted Armour
These knights are part of my collection of vintage Playmobil medieval figures from the 1990s. I customised their armour with metallic paint to give the original plastic pieces a more realistic, weathered appearance while preserving the charm of these classic toys.
The matching purple shields and banners feature a golden wyvern, giving the knights their own distinctive heraldry and the appearance of a small medieval fighting force.
Playmobil Medieval Army in the Mist
I photographed the knights outdoors, arranging them in formation among miniature trees and natural terrain.
The smoke creates the atmosphere of a misty battlefield, as if the soldiers were emerging from the fog before a medieval battle.
The knights stand together beneath their purple banners, equipped with painted helmets, armour, swords and heraldic shields.
These two photographs capture the same formation from slightly different perspectives. The combination of vintage Playmobil knights, customised armour, heraldic colours and outdoor photography gives this small army its own character.
